The Nominee Reveal for the 17th Annual Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards is coming up Sunday, Nov. 6 (6pm to 8pm) at Benson Theatre (6054 Maple St.). Admission is free with a donation suggested to help support production of the 17th Annual OEAAs. We accept Cash or Venmo: @oeaawards https://account.venmo.com/u/oeaawards Nominees are determined from public nominations and vetted by review committees of the OEAA Academies. Members of the OEAA Academies in Music, Visual Arts, and Performing Arts will vote in November to determine the trophy winners. Eligible works must have been performed, released, and/or exhibited between Sept. 1, 2021 and Aug. 31 2022. Trophy winners will be announced and presented Jan. 29 at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center in Council Bluffs (which will be our first return to in-person awards since 2020). Trophies are being sponsored by Bergman Incentives for the third year in a row. Media sponsors: The Reader, Omaha Magazine, and 1st Sky Omaha. The OEAA 501c3 nonprofit depends on support from the community.
