Iconic Islamorada Hotel is looking for the right person to join our team. This a fulltime position with possible overtime. We have two properties and need that second person to join the maintenance department. We are a drama and (no drunks) drug free workplace. If you are not already established here and want to move down, we do not offer employee housing. We offer good pay based on your experienced. Duties: Complete repairs, preventative maintenance & inspections Respond to guest issues for maintenance, as needed including: Appliance troubleshooting Cable/wifi troubleshooting Basic HVAC repair Light plumbing Hotel locks (card reader) Basic Carpentry skills a plus. Be available and willing to assist your coworkers and management when necessary Be able cross-cover when necessary to ensure urgent issues are addressed Collect and remove trash, debris yard debris on property Be able to follow through on assigned maintenance task. Requirements: 2 years of property maintenance experience preferred but not required Reliable transportation Able to lift over 20lbs Must be able to work unsupervised Complete projects through completion in a timely manor Properly assess issues and be able to give a solution Must be able to work assigned schedule including weekends and holidays as needed to support the needs of the properties
