The program operates by holding cohorts of 10-15 entrepreneurs who work through creating a business and strategic plan over a 10-week training program. After that program, entrepreneurs go on to work as Fellows for a full year. During this time, Helius coaches and mentors work to help remove obstacles and provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to grow their businesses, and to be an example to other small business owners. Audacity Labs, founded by Quinci King and Mitchell Sava in 2018, works to democratize entrepreneurship by empowering 9 th through 12 th grade youth to work together to conceive, develop and launch their own start-up venture. Working with near-peer mentors and community leaders, youth explore and experience human-centered design, lean venture startups, as well as exposure to skills workshops, field trips and social events in their year-round program. Anjanette Miller has continued this mission as the current executive director, bringing her years of business and education experience to the program.
