The South Dakota State University School of American and Global Studies, SDSU Connect, and Wokini, in collaboration with the African Film Festival, are hosting a free screening of three African short films:
- Ruthan (Abul Ajak / South Sudan, Uganda, South Africa / 2019 / 12 minutes)
- Appreciation (Tomisin Adepeju / United Kingdom, Nigeria / 2019 / 14 minutes)
- Al-Sit (Suzannah Mirghani / Sudan, Qatar / 2020 / 20 minutes)
The doors open at 6 pm for a complimentary drink and popcorn and the screening will start at 6:30 pm.
Both the reception and film are free and open to the public, but tickets are encouraged. Present your Eventbrite ticket for a complimentary drink voucher (wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages).
