Join the Wilderness Education Association (WEA) celebrating the launch of the Waypoint Accelerator 4th cohort for an open house, good beer, great music at the WEA National Office @ the WNC Outdoor Collective and support a great cause! Proceeds from beer sales and tips will support the WEA mission, Advancing professionalism of outdoor leaders through standards, training, and credentialing. Celebrate the launch of the 4th cohort of the Waypoint Accelerator and grab one of WNC's finest brews, tour the WEA National Office, and socialize with other outdoor professionals. WHEN? It Uniquely harnesses the outdoor industry and venture development expertise of mentors and partners to elevate your outdoor venture to the next peak. Cohort members are embedded in a strong network of mentors and peers that can help refine company plans and products, get critical feedback, and ultimately get to market faster. The program components include action-focused peer cohort sessions, a robust outdoor industry mentor network, and assistance with access to growth capital.
