Dr. Arvin Scott is a multi-award-winning performing artist, having performed and taught for decades throughout the US, Europe, the Caribbean, and Brazil. His impressive track record includes years of performances with the world-famous jam band Widespread Panic before sell-out audiences of 20,000 fans per show! Scott’s additional performance highlights include tours with Blue Note Grammy Award Winner Mose Allison, performances at The Atlanta Heroes Awards (hosted by John Bon Jovi, Janet Jackson, Michael Bolton, and Lynyrd Skynyrd) that honored human rights activist and leader Mrs. Coretta Scott King, multi-Grammy award winner Usher, and groundbreaking artists The B-52s. Dr. Scott has been invited to perform for two World Olympic Opening Ceremonies for athletes from 70 countries. Scott is also a multi-award-winning educator, having been nominated for UGA’s Franklin College Excellence In Teaching Award. His award-winning Drumming For Success motivational youth program has been featured on CNN’s national Headline News.
