Job Details: Starting Rate: $20/hr Schedule: Mon-Fri Shift: 7am -4pm Seeking a Warehouse Material Handler Responsible for general warehouse duties of receiving, unloading and storing material delivered to the branch Who We Are Looking For... 1+ years warehouse experience Fast paced environment for someone who is quick but safety conscientious Able to successfully pass a Valid OSHA approved forklift certification Lumber yard experience a plus Proficient and able to work safely with hand and power tools Must be highly quality-minded in all job functions Good oral communication, employee relations and customer service skills What You Will Do... Load and unload doors and various other building materials Check incoming product to verify material against receiving documents, noting and reporting any discrepancies or damage Locate and stage material for delivery by company truck or for pickup by customers Assist branch truck driver by loading and securing material in the truck in a manner that assures no damage in transit Ensure that material loaded for delivery matches shipping documents and that the products are in good condition Periodically examine stored material and report any deterioration or damage Maintain warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner Assist in taking inventory as required on a regular basis Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies Perform other duties and responsibilities as required Essential Physical Requirements Benefits – Medical, Dental, Vision available once you receive your first pay check!
