Ikebana Morimono: Use of Fruits & Vegetables in Japanese Flower Arrangement

Irene will teach a traditional Japanese Morimono Ikebana class suitable for a Thanksgiving or holiday table setting. Ikebana, Japanese flower arranging, is a national Japanese treasure, which is over 500 years old. Morimono uses fruits and vegetables in a Japanese flower arrangement that is perfect for a holiday table centerpiece. All materials will be supplied.
A bamboo mat, flowers, plant materials, fruits, vegetables, etc. will be provided with a separate $13.00 materials fee paid directly to the instructor in cash in class.
Please bring branch cutters and/or garden clippers.
Irene Gomulka has given numerous, demonstrations and taught Ikebana classes at Leu Gardens, Mennello Museum, Garden Clubs, Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival and teaches ongoing private workshops. .
Irene is a licensed instructor in the Sogetsu School of Ikebana. She is the current president of the Ikebana International Chapter in Orlando and the Chairperson of the Sogetsu Orlando Study Group.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
