The Children's Home is hosting a FREE fall harvest event celebrating National Adoption Month! Join our staff, adoptive families, foster families and community as we celebrate on Saturday November 5th from 11am – 2pm. All are welcome! Our Giving Thanks For Adoption event will be held in the back parking lot of The Children’s Home at 5324 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, 15224, under a large tent. It will include free food and drinks, crafts, children’s games, door prizes, photo opportunities and meet and greets with princesses and Star Wars characters. Other community resources will also be tabling at the event to provide crafts and local resources to families. We hope that this family friendly fall event will provide individuals the opportunity to learn more about adoption and foster care while meeting with families who have been through the process.
