Sunday, November 13, 2020 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Instructor: Grace Netanya Learn the fundamentals of drawing with Copic Alcohol Ink markers with International Award-Winning Artist Grace Netanya. Grace is Florida's only Copic approved teacher and one of only a few in the entire United States! While having fun creating a beautiful illustration of a realistic flower, you will learn how to create depth and three-dimensionality in your marker drawing, through blending and color gradients. Take home a beautiful artwork and explore the possibilities of one of the most flexible mediums- alcohol ink markers! This class is suitable for beginner through Intermediate Artists. This is a professional Alcohol Ink Marker Class and It is NOT suitable for young children. Only those registered may attend and childcare is Not provided. She is passionate about storytelling, and most of her works make reference to literature and myth. Grace’s unique combination of colorful fantasy and realism has caught the eyes of the art world both at home and internationally. She had her first exhibit at the age of fourteen, at MOAS FL, and has exhibited with such prestigious organizations as The ARC Realism Salon and The Colored Pencil Society. She has won many awards, such as The Copic Award Grand Prize 2019, a Third-Place Prize in The American Art Awards, and most recently, 1st Place in Martha Vineyard's drawing prize. Her work has also been published with imaginative art magazines such as Infected by Art. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request. Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit. Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
