Join us for the APA's second in a series of parent education events designed to promote continued collaboration between families, the school, and the community. These events are aimed to provide valuable ideas and insights that will aid in your child's total well-being. On November 16, we are covering the topic of Evolving Family Dynamics. It’s common for families with young children to experience changes in family dynamics such as marital issues, addiction, shifting relationships with extended family, or for children to hear about these issues from their classmates in school. We look forward to bringing in professionals who can share information about resources that exist that are currently considered best practice on the topic. The intent is to help parents get better at handling this sensitive subject with their children and with each other. Schedule of Events 5:30-6:00 Networking and refreshments (Advent Music Room) 6:00-7:00 Panel Discussion Childcare for Advent students will also be available here at school and pizza will be provided for students whose parents are attending the event. You must register at least 48 hours prior to the start of the event if you would like your student to stay in extended after school care.
