Individualized Services (IS) Direct Support Professional in Marion/Polk/Linn & Benton Counties - $18.00/hr Do you believe in helping people who experience disabilities lead the life they choose? In this position, you get to take the unique gifts, preferences, and needs of each person you support as a guide to how to walk in partnership with the person toward a life of opportunity, well-being, freedom, and contribution. You get to support people lead self-directed lives while they participate in their communities and/or schools. You will be providing supports and be a role model to adults and youth facing the challenges of mental health and/or disabilities. Compensation & Benefits Package: Wage will be $18.00/hr Mileage Reimbursement for miles driven outside of commuting to and from work Retirement, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life for Full Time employees Education/Experience Requirements: None! We provide a two week paid training! Job Specific Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Be able to regularly lift a minimum of 25 lbs (some shifts require more) Valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record Must be able to drive own vehicle and be reimbursed for non-commuting mileage Be able to be certified with an Individual Focus certificate in Oregon Intervention System (OIS) Be able to be certified and maintain certification with First Aid/CPR Pass a State/Federal criminal history check Pass a pre-employment drug screen for the use of illegal substances in Oregon Be fully vaccinated (or willing to become fully vaccinated while completing Orientation) against COVID-19 (subject to limited exemptions based on medical conditions, sincerely held religious beliefs, and/or applicable state laws and regulations)
