Our sweet natured Pyrenees & German shepherd mix young male dog needs to be rehomed. Almost 2 years old, up to date on shots and neutered. This breed requires fencing, and construction behind our house has him chronically stressed out. He would do well on a farm or even in a smaller fenced backyard. He’s a livestock guardian dog breed and is very protective. He is wonderful with our 4 children and gentle, no destructive behavior, never bitten, but he has a ferocious bark and we don’t feel he’s best of in a home with young children. He is very responsive to training and eager to please his master, just needs someone to work with him. He’s loyal and such a good dog. He does great with most other dogs, loves to play. Rather than ask a rehoming fee, we would offer a gift of funds to his new owner to help with costs of further training and food. He’s hopefully got a lot of years left to be a wonderful companion, watchdog, or farm helper!
