Are you currently feeling depressed, down, and experiencing a loss of pleasure in activities you normally would enjoy?
Researchers at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA are seeking participants for a research study investigating a novel method to predict which antidepressant is most likely to be effective for adults with symptoms of depression. If you are between the ages of 18-64 years old, are right-handed, and are currently not receiving psychiatric treatment (e.g., psychiatric medication, psychotherapy), you may be eligible.
The study provides eight weeks of an anti-depressant medication and 9 assessments across 9-10 weeks, at no cost. It will additionally involve an MRI scan, an EEG scan, and an EKG. You can earn up to $690 for your participation.
If you are interested in participating, please complete the following screening survey: depressiontreatmentstudy.org
