Starting a metal band

Bassist (32 y/o male, if that matters) in search of other musicians who want to form a metal band of sorts, most likely thrash oriented but wouldn't be opposed to anything blackened, death, trad/stoner, or even core oriented. Personal influences include the likes of Anthrax, Iron Maiden, The Sword, Mastodon, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, and a bunch more. Fine with covers, but would prefer a greater focus on originals. Would love to gig often and make something of it.
