Seeking Bass Player - Heavy Shoegaze

Established indie rock band returning from a long hiatus, seeking bassist. We are about halfway through writing and recording a new album, we have a friend filling in on bass but need someone more committed & with a bit more dynamics. Our sound ranges from heavy 90's grunge/shoegaze to lofi folk acoustic & dreampop. Currently everything is detuned to B standard, we have a bass which is setup for our current tuning if you don't have a detuned bass or don't want to commit to modding yours. Our only requirements are: - play with a pick - learn/internalize the songs (practice/know the songs on your own) We are in our early 40's, currently we practice sporadically but we will increase rehearsals in a few months as we begin to play shows in 2023 with the release of the new record. The recording is high fidelity - we did basic tracking in LA but are continuing in Bushwick, and we are also audio engineers. We have visual based animations accompanying the recordings for online/social media, as well as a release strategy & budget.
