If you are a troubleshooter and have a knack for problem-solving then this position is for you. As an IPM technician at Pestec, you are like a detective, using clues to guide you in solving pest issues. Your home office will be in Antioch, but you will be required to travel to sites throughout Contra Costa County, Alameda County, and San Joaquin County. You will work alongside others who also have a passion for solving customers’ problems and improving the places we live and work. Monday - Friday, 20 - 30 hours a week, but start times vary: some team members start as early as 3 am or start as late as 5 pm. Must get your SPCB Applicator license - You will receive paid training and the preparation needed to pass the exam required to be licensed. You will have the opportunity to attend industry-related workshops, take college-level pest management courses, and participate in company-wide training where you will get to problem solve with the whole team. Stand, walk or drive for prolonged periods Move or lift 50-100 lbs. What The Hiring Process Looks Like If we review your application and decide to move forward we will reach out to you and have you complete a pre-employment questionnaire. If your questionnaire results and resume/application align with the qualities we look for in a technician, we will reach out to schedule a phone interview. If the phone interview goes well, we will bring you in for a paid ($50) in-person interview at our training facility in Antioch. This is an interactive interview where we will assess your abilities and skills to see if you're a good fit for the job. Plan to be there for up to 2 hours.
