Part Time Delivery Driver

Description

Candidate will work Monday - Friday performing daily delivery services (using company delivery van) departing from our Des Plaines facility to local funeral homes across the entire Chicagoland area. Ideal candidate will be trained to pick orders, load van and determine optimal delivery routes to meet both company and customer requirements. Routes and product mix will vary day to day. Daily Start Time: 9:30 am, Duration: approximately 4-7 hours/day. Essential Details and Job Functions: • Use company vehicle to make deliveries to customers in a safe and courteous manner. • Must consistently maintain accuracy on all paperwork, orders and schedules of deliveries. • Comply with all company policies and safety rules. • Pick up of customer returns. • 4-7 hours/day (varies by need), part time position • Start time 9:30am • Pay Rate:19.00/hr • 5-days/week Monday - Friday • Max lift carton/package weight/unit 50lbs • Ability to use 2-wheeler/hand truck • Good communication skills • Professional attitude and well groomed • Clean driving record/history, "Class D" license to drive cargo van • Ability to navigate efficient routes for daily delivery • Ability to pick stock and load vehicle based on routing • Ability to check fluids/oil/tires daily on delivery vehicle • Experience: local delivery, will train the right individual Job Type: Part-time Salary: $19.00 per hour
