Drummer (in my 40s) with plenty of live / recording experience. My tastes are fairly eclectic but my playing experience has mostly been in various indie sub genres. Examples of my influences include but are not limited to: Film School, Unwound, Jesus Lizard, Drive like Jehu, REM, Jawbox, Dismemberment Plan, Spoon, RFTC, Grandaddy, Superchunk, Karate, Tortoise, Dinosaur Jr., Bad Brains, The Band, Blonde Redhead, Pink Floyd, Chavez, The Cars, Talking Heads, XTC, The Cult, Elvis Costello, The Life and Times, Television, Pinback, Swervedriver etc etc etc... Looking for a band or startup situation w/ practice once a week - playing out hopefully once a month or so in the area.... I am reliable, have well taken care of gear, transportation, and I learn quickly. Looking for likeminded musicians who are also reliable / non-flaky, and motivated.
