Description

I make axes in small batches. They are handmade from toe to palm swell. I need someone to assist me in the production process. This will involve manning the forge, monitoring and maintaining heavy equipment, safely handling redhot steel, staging tools, and various other small duties to make the process move more efficiently. The ideal candidate and I will develope the flow together and work in unison. There is potential for a good candidate to learn one or more aspects of the craft and pick up more work. Handle and sheath production are also part of the process and the right person may be able to take one of those duties over, in time. Initially this will only be for approximately 3 hours on Mondays, and you will be paid as a contractor. This is dangerous work with the potential for severe bodily injury so only apply if you're mature and competent.
