Description
Researchers at Boston University Medical Campus are investigating whether the use of an existing
medication can help prevent a decline in memory and thinking abilities for people with mild memory problems.
You may be eligible if you meet the following criteria:
• Adult age 55-90 with mild cognitive impairment or if you, your partner/spouse or clinician are
having concerns about your memory.
• You are able to come to the clinic for the initial visit and 5 more visits every 6 months (transport
support will be provided if needed)
• You have a study partner who is available by telephone for the initial and follow-up visits.
You are NOT eligible if:
• You have a history of diabetes
• You have a diagnosis of dementia
