Bass player (and a little bit of guitar too), looking to jam with other musicians in the N. Raleigh area. I’m definitely not a pro musician and looking for other basement/bedroom players that are looking to step out of their comfort zone a bit and jam a little with other players. Looking for low/no pressure, no judgement, jam sessions that start with a love of music and listening to each other play. Great if it ends up being something more like open mics or even gigs, but only if folks are comfortable going that way. Having fun playing songs and jamming are first priority, everything else would be gravy. Have a full practice area with drums, amps, PA, etc. Looking for guitar players, drummers, keys, vocals or any other instruments that serve a jam/song. Pretty flexible on times as long as it’s evenings or weekends (I’m a working stiff too 😀) Most experience with classic rock, blues, jam bands, but open to mostly anything that sounds good. Not incredibly interested in “the hits” or “cover band top 100” unless we land on something together and it sounds good. Finally, no ego’s, one-uppers or players that want to shred everyone else out of the room. If you’ve been sitting in your bedroom/basement playing and just want a little bit more, please let me know!
