Carpenter/Labor Job Description At Brothers Building we are looking for a carpenter/labor position immediately. We are a general contracting business that builds everything from small ADU's to multi-million dollar homes. We have our own excavation, foundation, framing etc crews. We are looking for a Carpenter/Labor position who will be a proactive and productive member of our Brothers Building team. Key Responsibilities Be responsible Learn and become an expert on our products and installation techniques Think ahead and communicate with other personnel on the jobsite Develop and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors Maintain and operate company tools and vehicles in a safe manner Keep job sites and materials clean, safe, and damage-free Learn to complete all required documentation completely and accurately Skills Required Basic understanding of blueprints. Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment. Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service. Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects. Ability to follow instructions and work within a team Excellent communication skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to problem solve Ambition and be self-motivated Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Minimum Experience Required • General Labor/construction 1 year • Valid driver’s license Job Type: Full Time/Part Time Pay: $20-$25/hour depending on skill proficiency Benefits: 401K Paid time off Schedule 8 hour shift Day Shift Monday-Friday Supplemental Pay • Overtime
