Meet Pepper! 6 month old spayed female AKC German Shorthaired Pointer. Recently spayed, healthy and up-to-date on all shots. Pepper is a very sweet & energetic girl who loves to play, chew on bones, run, chase balls, be with people and be outside. She is kennel trained & has gone through 2 rounds of training classes through High Expectations dog training in Camas. She also went to several puppy socializing sessions to teach her proper interaction with other dogs. She is mostly potty-trained (she has spent a lot of her time outside with us) but will need help adjusting to a new place by being taken potty regularly (about 1x every 1-2 hours) to ensure her potty space is established in a new environment. She has had lots of great experiences with and does well with people, children (issues with knocking smaller children down due to her excitement), camping, riding in the car, etc… She is highly intelligent & picks up new commands quickly with treat incentive. We are rehoming her because she just isn’t the right fit for what our family needs. We also are expecting a new baby and do not have the time or energy to give her the love, attention and exercise she needs. She preferably needs a home with a fenced yard, cat-free, where she can get regular exercise and be played with consistently. This breed is also a bird hunting breed and can be trained for that. She already points in the yard at birds and critters she sees. We paid $1200 for her. Asking $600. Includes her brand new large dog bed, dog cot, kennel, toys, bowls, walking leash, 360 retractable leash stake, collars, harness, treats, bones, and current supply of dog food.
