Join Seattle City Light and the Georgetown Steam Plant Community Development Authority as they celebrate the preservation of the Georgetown Steam Plant, its history, and volunteers with an open house celebration on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Doors open at 10am with guided tours scheduled for 11am and 1pm. Included in the day’s activities will be recognition of the many volunteers who have enabled us to provide more public access to this treasured National Historic Landmark. The Community Development Authority will also be on hand that day to share its 3-D model of the steam plant and discuss its plans for further restoration and programming.
