If you have always wanted to try Tarot but been intimidated, this is a perfect place to start. Respectful skeptics are welcome! Tarot can be a creative tool for connecting with yourself, your friends, or stories you want to tell. Our practice will get you started. This workshop will be led by local Tarot experts, Myth and Crystal (Girl On Arts). Bring your favorite Tarot deck based on the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot. If you don't have one, it’s ok! There are add-ons available at checkout with options to rent or buy one to take home. During this 2 hour class you will: Develop a framework for understanding divinationLearn a little about the history and structure of Tarot decksExplore a step-by-step process for performing readingsObserve a demoPerform your very own reading using the Celtic Cross spread, with expert help to get you through it!Myth and Crystal have worked hard to develop a process that is easy to follow and reproduce on your own, even after leaving the class. There will be handouts as well, so don't worry about having to take notes. This is a chance to connect with your soul, build confidence, and have fun. Crystal (Girl on Arts) will be offering some of her handcrafted supplies, like protective Tarot card bags, altar cloths, and portable kits for reading on the go!
