Join us on Monday, November 14th for the second annual ‘State of Homelessness Address’ for the Orange County community!
Learn about the county-wide progress over the past year to address homelessness in our community and what is on the horizon for 2023.
Remarks will be made by:
Doug Becht, Director of the Office of Care Coordination at the Orange County Executive OfficeSupervisor Doug Chaffee, 4th District Supervisor, Chair of the Commission to End Homelessness, Chairman to the Board of Supervisors And more! The Address will take place in person at the First United Methodist Church of Costa Mesa, with the option to tune in virtually. The Address will start at 9:00 AM but in advance of the Address, a reception with refreshments will take place in front of the ‘A Place to Call Home’ mural in the church parking lot at 8:30 AM.
This event is part of the 2022 Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week campaign.
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is a national effort that Orange County participates in annually. Dozens of agencies across the County come together to create a community-wide campaign packed with events, activities, and opportunities to engage and be part of the movement to #EndHomeessnesOC.
