There's a need that is presently hidden behind shame, blame, hurt, embarrassment, undefined defense mechanisms, and the tradition of "What happens in the house, stays in this house." We invite you to the beginning of your new season of healing. My name is C.D. Hyson. I am an author, motivational speaker, and survivor of domestic violence, physical abuse, and molestation. I began my journey of healing in 2008 when I gained the courage to leave my then-abusive husband. But I didn’t start to heal until I began to talk about what I went through as a child which opened my eyes and heart to want to help others heal. We’ve all too often heard that hurt people, hurt people. Well, I’m here to let you know that healed people, can help heal hearts. Due to the nature of this conference, you must be 15 or older to attend and a woman. The attire is casual.
