The Museum is proud to offer culinary programs in Café at 3218. Café at 3218 brings people together to enjoy a seasonal menu (coming in early 2023) and participate in culinary programs including cooking demonstrations and classes. Café at 3218 encourages everyone to have a seat at the table, celebrating community and sharing the recipes, stories, and histories that nourish us.
A Sonora, Mexico native she launched Yoli Tortilleria along with her husband Mark. Their mission is how Mexican cuisine is experienced. Much of Marissa’s desire to transform and enhance experiences comes from traveling through Mexico as a child from Sonora to Merida. She recently authored a zine telling many of those personal food stories that exemplify the rich diversity of Mexican cuisine.
Yoli Tortilleria has a retail shop in the Westside Neighborhood (17th and Jefferson) and can be found at Whole Foods and many local groceries.
