JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a Sign Production Associate to join our team in Riverside, MO. This position includes sign production as well as interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner. Must be professional, solution-oriented individual and have a positive attitude. Must be organized, detail-oriented, work well in a fast-paced team environment, and can efficiently manage many projects at once. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES THAT THE CANDIDATE WILL LEARN INCLUDE: - Manufacture all types of signs - Document processes and create checklists - Experience running a wide format Printer - Ability to use an X-Acto knife, squeegee and ruler efficiently and safely. - Load and cut vinyl on a plotter. - Mask, weed and apply vinyl to various substrates. - Properly load and use a laminator - Follow standard safety precautions while using all machinery - Perform routine machine maintenance/cleanings as needed - Meet Sign Production Timelines - Assist with graphics installations. - Assist with inventory control - Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, storage spaces - Perform quality assurance measures, pre- and post-production - Accurately track electronic and paper records related to jobs - Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques for continuous self-improvement - Follow all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years experience with manufacturing - Experience with Microsoft Office - Have excellent communication and customer service skills. - Strong organization skills - Able to work well in a fast-paced environment - Able to use light power equipment PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to place onto and retrieve various types of substrates from a substrate rack including the upper shelves. Must be in good physical condition and be able to lift 50 lbs.
