Forming a Vocal Group—Need Soprano, Alto, and Bass

I am a Tenor with no professional singing experience who is looking to form a four-member singing group. We will write original songs to perform live. I am open to discussing different genres of music that work a cappella style or with light instrumental arrangements. My goal is to meet once or twice a week to rehearse and write songs. I am not hiring anyone for pay but if we ever get paid work then we can negotiate how to split compensation among performers and songwriters. This is intended to be a long-term collaboration. I am looking for the following vocalist teammates: Soprano Alto Bass -Need to be able to learn your part from sheet music at a pace that is compatible with other band mates -An interest in songwriting and arranging is a plus -A good sense of harmony is valuable Sorry to be negative here but no illegal drug users please. Also due to a personal allergy problem, I cannot be around smokers for long periods of time. Finally, you should not have any employment or contractual restrictions, judicial “restraints,” medical enhancement, or any other factor that precludes you from doing this for pay if we ever get to that point. About me—I am a former finance and consulting professional in his late 40s but all ages are welcome. I live in northern New Jersey near Manhattan.
