Description
Posted earlier about two sweet pit bulls that almost got hit by a car and we decided to put them in our backyard and give them love until we found their owners.
I posted signs in our neighborhood and a lady pulled over and said her neighbors lost their two dogs. She told me the descriptions of their two dogs and it matched 100%.
She called the neighbors, they did not answer, so I gave her my phone number and told her to text me whenever she can reach them. I waited for four hours on these people, sat outside of my house for over an hour. I texted her telling her that I really need to go to bed and to tell them to get their dogs ASAP.
She then went on to tell me that they DID come by, they talked to me and saw the dogs and decided there was no one those were theirs because they are too small.
I sat outside my hour for two hours. We have a ring doorbell that notifies us whenever someone is anywhere in the yard, as well as other security cameras around the house.
These people are lying and probably just wanted to abandon these poor sweet dogs and didn't want to tell their neighbor.
I have a two year old daughter and we cannot foster these dogs. They are extremely sweet, good with other dogs - just a bit hyper and they would knock over my daughter trying to play.
If anyone knows of someone who would be willing to take them in and foster them please contact me.
I have been feeding them, they scarf down their food like they haven't eaten in weeks. They are not chipped, neutered/spayed
