We rescued the tan female from HORRIBLE conditions 13 miles from our home on June 17, 2022. The poor girl was among 15+ adult dogs and two litters (one being hers) of pups. She was skin and bones. While we didn't pay the $50 per pup they wanted, they did offer this girl for free. There was no way we could leave her in such a terrible place. 22 hours after arriving home we found a puppy whining in our driveway. He looks identical to the pups we saw when rescuing her. It seems he found his way 13 miles to his mom! We already have a 7 yr old dog and a 3 yr old cat. We're approaching retirement age and live in a small house on a limited income. We have fallen on love with these babies, but they deserve more than we can offer. Both dogs were "fixed" & received their parvo & rabies vaccinations on October 12, 2022. They're both "hound mix". The vet figures "Emma", the 60 lb. tan & white female is approximately 1 yr. & 4 mo.. The male, "(Mr.) Moto the 37 lb. tan & black male is approximately 9 months old. Both dogs are incredibly loving...& playful with all. They're both "housebroken", good on a leash, very " food motivated" & know the "sit" command. These "kids" will do best in a home with a fenced yard with active caretakers. Both dogs are intelligent & will excel with basic training.
