Welcome to the Creative Zone! We're going to make seasonal ornament lights together.
I will bring an assortment of sizes and shapes of ornaments to work with and a string of lights. You will dye the crystals a different color, if uncolored, add fake snow, glitter, colored glass and other ideas for inside the lights. The opening of the ornaments is 3/4" btw. Then you will choose a 2" ribbon to finish off the ornament, using hot glue to "sew" up the sides of the ribbon and hide the battery pack with 2 AAA batteries inside.
I like lighting up the ribbon itself in addition to the ornament. They look great in the front window.
Ornament lights can be endlessly customized by color or theme. Miniatures work inside the ornaments to make tiny dioramas.
It is possible to hand sew the ribbon instead of gluing if you want to.
