Hey bassists! Are you interested in playing original music? Would you like to try to shape a new band that is doing something different, and new? Well then, read on! I am Dave Serchuk the singer-songwriter of the Louisville-based band The Shondas. We are currently in need of a bassist, and are interested in meeting and playing with different people, to see who is a good fit. Our prior bassist had to leave due to health reasons. We parted on the best possible terms, but nonetheless we still need a bassist. We've played a few successful gigs in town, and people have really responded to our songs, both live, and when they hear our recorded tracks. We've gotten two songs on WFPK, and are interested in both playing live on a regular basis and ultimately recording more songs. We are currently a three piece, with an excellent drummer, great lead guitarist, and me on vocals and guitars as well. (I'm pretty good too, lol.) We are all mature, responsible, drama-free people. We like to have fun, and keep it light, but we also take our practices seriously and want to be the best band we can be. If this sounds interesting how about this?
