Looking for at least two strong, able bodied people to move a family of four. A solid wood dresser, chest of drawers, and dining table are all quite heavy. (these heavy items will remain on the first floor at both locations) Must be able to go up and down stairs, current home has a basement and new home has a second story. Help is needed from 1pm on Thursday, October 27th and my husband estimates the move to take roughly four hours. We're offering $450 cash to be split between the movers. There are other furniture items to be moved i.e. end tables, beds, a loveseat, recliner, computer hutch, as well as numerous plastic totes in lieu of boxes. Tools will be on hand to disassemble and reassemble a king sized bed and remove the dining table legs. (it's not difficult to do, but I'm disabled and my husband has a bad back) The new house is approximately 8 minutes away, so not far at all.
