My professor conducted an experiment. He herded a couple of dozen MAGAts into a room, empty except for a bunch of MAGA hats suspended from the ceiling and a chair in the corner. The MAGAts jumped up and down, trying to reach the hats, but to no avail: they bitched and howled about the cruelty. One MAGAt kept looking back and forth from the hats to the chair, and you could almost see the lightbulb go on. He dragged the chair underneath the dangling hats, climbed up on it, and snatched a hat. The other MAGAts beat him to death, ruining the one hat in the process. They went back to jumping up and down, trying to reach the hats. We're studying the film to try to draw conclusions. I lied about the college thing; we just show the film at parties for a good laugh.
