PLEASE READ ALL! BEFORE CONTACTING! WE have a female GSD, about 4 years old, that has been spayed. and is up on her shots. We took this dog in to rescue a few years ago. She was found either abandon or a run away! After weeks of the person trying to find the owner she was about to be taken to a high kill shelter, we just couldn't allow that. We had almost decided to keep her, but we have another female GSD that we raised from a puppy, and the two have gotten over the last few years to be aggressive towards each other. It isn't that she is aggressive towards our other dogs, it is she wants to play constantly, and well they don't. they are all older. Ana is house trained, and is an indoor out door dog, very trainable, but can be willful. Very sweet and lovable to her humans. She wants lots of attention, and can be quite a goof ball. Compared to our other GSD she has lots of energy. We think she has been abused before we got her. What we want to find for her and what I think she needs. We want a loving home, she is nothing but a big pet. Would NOT be a great guard dog, she likes everyone. We had workers throw her ball back over the fence once, and spent the next 6 months trying to get her to stop dropping the ball over the fence, for anyone outside to throw it again. She is a flight risk, and would need a fenced in yard. She is not particularly destructive, but does seem to have some separation issues. She gets really wild when we first come home. I feel like she would make a better single dog. Or maybe with a puppy. As said before she wants to play all the time. We have grown to love this dog, and want only what is best for her.
