Hey, hope this finds you doing well. I'm looking for a piano teacher to replace my last one. I prefer a music school grad or some similar certification. I'm about 3 months in and I can find middle C, I can read the sheet music (recently stopped marking the notes so naked sheet reading is brutal and slowed me down but it had to be done!), I can play simple one note tunes in time, where I am at now is triads and 7th chords. My ultimate goal is to be a composer and a well rounded player than can perform in a band or in someones living room, classical music to pop songs to hard rock. My musical heroes would be Beethoven and Steely Dan.
