StepUp is a mentoring program that is dedicated to being a voice for the disenfranchised in Duval County offering services that aid in the restoration and Stabilization of the ex-offender, educational support, DJJ advocate, and family advocacy. Founder and President, Quiana Malone will be hosting an informational meeting about 1 Step Up. The purpose is to invite community members to learn more about the service organization - giving information to those interested in joining the mission. Meet the Founder Ms. Quiana Malone holds many titles ranging from Founder/CEO to Philanthropist. All of which is accompanied by great responsibility, however, the one that is most important to her is the title of Community Servant. Ms. Malone's, commitment to serving the underprivileged and disenfranchised people throughout the United States is by way of Grassroots Foundation and Process Implementation, which requires involving the community in which these individuals work, reside, and raise families to actively get involved. With the success of her first organization 1 Step Up Jax, Ms. Malone is now working with other ground-breaking leaders throughout the United States to replicate 1 Step Up Jax and assisting them in being change agents for the community in which they serve. Ms. Malone is currently working on tackling issues that are systemically set up to create barriers based on Social Economic Class and Status, Education, Poverty, and Scare Resources. As of March 2020, Ms.Malone created and founded Dear Black Girl a wrap-around service provided to women who have been affected by Former Incarceration, Homelessness, Trauma, Etc. that can benefit from our Personal and Professional Development Cohorts and our 2nd Level Maternity and Affordable housing for Women with Children.
