Come join us in our lovely office on Pearl Street in Boulder, CO. This workshop is designed for pre-marital couples. What better investment could there be but to understand the foundational principles and practices for making marriage work. Seven Principles is based on the research and practice of the last forty years from the Gottman Institute. The Seven Principles Workshop for couples is a workshop based on the internationally acclaimed research of Dr. John Gottman as presented in his New York Times bestselling book—The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. This educational workshop has been offered across the US and internationally, and has strengthened the relationships of tens of thousands of couples. It's specifically designed to help couples improve their friendship and learn powerful communication and conflict management skills. We will work with the proven tools to help couples:‒Improve friendship, fondness, and admiration‒Enhance romance and intimacy‒Manage conflict constructively‒Gain skills to address perpetual and solvable problems‒Create shared meaning‒Maintain gains throughout a lifetime. This workshop will be interactive. This workshop is led by Sharla Macy, LMFT. Sharla has worked with hundreds of couples and families since 1987 as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a Level 3 Trained Gottman Therapist and a Certified Gottman Educator of the Seven Principles. She is passionate about empowering couples with the tools and resources to help make their marriage thrive! The workshop includes lectures, demonstrations, videos and private couples exercises. The activities are fun, insightful and informative. ​There will be an hour break for lunch. Coffee and tea and light refreshments will be provided.
