Ruger is a 4 year old German shepherd black lab mix. We adopted him from the spca when he was 9 months old. He is a great dog. He love kids, he’s grown up with cats and loves them. Ruger is also neutered, microchipped and has been vaccinated regularly. He loves car rides and McDonald’s French fries are one of his favorite treats. When we first adopted Ruger we lived in a home with lots of property for him to run around on and our kids were homeschooled. After the pandemic we had to downsize our home and property and our kids went to classroom learning. Ruger now has less than a half acre and is alone most of the day. With our work and school schedule there isn’t much time to take him to the dog park or on walks like he needs and he isn’t tolerating the changes well. He needs a home with a fenced in yard or someone who can devote more time to him. We would prefer him to go to a home with children, as he loves them. I’m lieu of a rehoming fee we would ask that you make a small donation to the spca or your local animal shelter so other animals can get a second chance. Text if you would like to meet Ruger
