Join us for a night at the museum! The AIAD Fundraising Committee presents the Annual American Indian Academy of Denver Fundraising Dinner this year at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. This will be our first annual fundraising dinner and we are starting this annual tradition with an amazing evening of great food, great networking, and an overall great experience. Guests will have after-hours access to portions of the museum including the Gems and Minerals exhibit. This event will feature an Indigenous-themed dinner and fashion show. As well as auctions, featured businesses, and a cash bar. Dress is semi-formal/formal.
The American Indian Academy of Denver (AIAD) is a community-based, open enrollment, public charter school. All students are welcome, and the school is specifically designed to address the unmet needs of American Indian and Latino students in the Denver metro area.
AIAD’s model is Indigenized STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math taught through American Indian principles and ways of knowing).
As Indigenous people of North America, we have been critical thinkers, scientists, artists, and innovators since the beginning of time. It is our intention to help our students carry that cultural legacy into the 21st century!
