ENTRETONO draws from the subtleties of change, the nuances between shades of color, the space between the top of a breath, and the falling of it. It was created to give the mind, body, and spirit a mega boost through a variety of hyper warm ups, playful prompts, and nonsensical meditations. Continuous movement is encouraged while we fluctuate between paces, slow and fast. The sounds will be an aide to place oneself and keep track of time, as music often does, even without repetition or obvious rhythm.
This workshop is a moment to sit with the subtlety of change, swirling into and out of focus, the soft passing of intermoments, and connection with the unending spin of Earth.
While we practice continuous movement, listening to our bodies is priority. This practice is not about pushing oneself, rather understanding what our own limitations may be and creating a physical language that always feels good for one self.
We’re doing this for the simple joy of moving. There is no choreography. There is no right way, just the fun way.
All ages and abilities are welcomed.
NOTICE: Our photographer will be on site to document this workshop.
