We have recently experienced an unexpected loss—as a result, we are faced with having to rehome a very special dog. Nola is an 8 year old, black German Shepherd. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with all her shots (full vet records available). Nola is older and loves to play fetch and go on short walks, but prefers to lounge around the house with you. She loves cuddling up to her humans after a long day. She has been given an amazing life with ample space to play. With age, Nola has slowed down but is loving and sweet with people; however, she has exhibited significant prey drive in her younger years and CANNOT be in a home with cats or small dogs. Due to her history, she is not a dog you can take to the dog park. Her ideal home is with an experienced dog owner who understands her needs. Her owner loved her so much; it breaks our hearts in the wake of this loss to part with her, but we owe it to his memory and her well-being to do everything we can to find her a new home.
