Course Description If you’re an armed or unarmed security officer in the State of Tennessee, and you perform security at an establishment that holds a permit or license for on-premises consumption of alcohol, then you are required to complete the following: Training in de-escalation and techniques and proper and safe restraint techniques First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Join us on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. to meet the state’s new requirements. Course Topics Use of force Levels of control Conflict management and communication Resistance and control management The safe and effective use of restraints Scene and victim assessment Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques Basic first aid protocols Equipment considerations Course Requirements This course provides participants with the training now required by TCA 62-35-118. Training forms will be completed and submitted to the state at the conclusion of this training. Note: We are covered/certified by the Tennessee Department of Insurance to provide instruction in CPR, first aid, de-escalation, and safe restraint training.
