The Discovery Center is pleased to announce our first MEET THE AUTHOR event . Author, consultant and 2014 Michigan Teacher of the Year, Gary Abud. Gary will be bringing copies of his book; Science with Scarlet: What Color Will it Be? Book copies will be available for sale and author signing and will be sold for $25 hard cover and $15 Paperback. 15% of all book sales is being donated by Gary to Eversight; a non-profit organization that provides human eye tissue for transplantation, supports research into the causes and cures of blinding eye conditions; promotes donation awareness through public and professional education; and provides humanitarian aid to people around the world in need of sight-restoring therapies. Other hands-on activities and screenings will be available.
