Congregation T'chiyah invites you for the SECOND ANNUAL T'CHIYAH M'CHAIYAH, a fundraiser event to celebrate the kind of refreshing and energizing creativity that is typical of our progressive, justice-pursuing, queer-loving, growing spiritual community. >> The name M'CHAIYAH comes from the Hebrew root "chai," meaning "life." A "m'chaiyah" is a Hebrew/Yiddish expression for something that is "life-giving" and rejuvenating. (Our congregation's name "T'chiyah" comes from the same root.) Join us for this evening of celebration and rejuvenation! This year's M'Chaiyah is extra-special, as we will be celebrating our congregation's 45th Anniversary. Join us at 7 PM for our 45th Anniversary Reception for Dessert & Drinks + Storytelling from CORINNE STAVISH!✨ ✨ ✨At 8 PM: The klezmer stylings of fiddler JAKE SHULMAN-MENT, in collaboration with the Americana folk music of multi-instrumentalist LAUREL PREMO!During our Reception & Concert, DANIEL CASCARDO will be producing an original live painting that will then be auctioned off at the end of the evening. Our FINE ART AUCTION will also include works from: Lynne AvadenkaHannah Lewis...and more![NOTE: This is an in-person, masked event. We will NOT be livestreaming. COVID Protocols: Performers/speakers may mask/unmask per their comfort.
