Male Treeing Walker Coonhound is looking for an amazing home with room to run. Took him in for a family member so he didn’t go to the shelter but not working out long term here. This dog is a gem. Fixed, crate trained, walks well on leash (stops a lot to sniff and can pull if excited), doesn’t bark much for his breed so can live on bigger property in the city. LOVES chew toys and carrying things so keep unwanted chew items out of reach. Loves to play with other dogs. Cats are ok but best without. No chickens or small animals. He shivers outside and can be sensitive. Not a suitable hunting dog. Best for active, outdoor camping/hikers. Older kids are fine as he can still be mouthy so best away from small kids. Age unknown as he was a stray but likely a year old. Absolutely NO apartments!!
