My best friend needs a new home

This is Jordan and I hate that I have to do this. I love her so so much. She’s my best friend and has been with me for more than 3 years. I raised her from a puppy and she’s always been a nervous dog. She knows sit, stay, lay down, shake, speak, drop it, leave it, and mostly knows roll over but sometimes gets too excited to do it properly. She’s very athletic but was born with a knee deformity that causes her pain especially in the mornings and evenings or when it’s cold. Surgery could help but it’s 4 grand that I don’t have. As she’s gotten older she’s also gotten more food aggressive and territorial with the other animals. This is the main reason I’m having to look for a new place for her to live. We have cats and she’s already attacked one. Luckily it ended up being okay but next time it might be more serious and I hate that I don’t trust her all the time. I know that she can feel that and it probably makes her more nervous. She has never been aggressive with people only animals. She’s up to date on shots and she’s fixed as well. She would need to be the only animal and would benefit from a fenced in yard. I also wouldn’t recommend a home with young children because she hasn’t been around too many and they may stress her out. She’s not an escape artist but sometimes barks if left alone outdoors. She’s not the biggest people person and might take a bit to warm up to someone new. There would have to be some meet and greets before she could go anywhere so that she becomes more comfortable and so that I know it’s a good fit.
